The Latest from the WE Fest Karaoke Roundup
The We Fest Karaoke Roundup is excited to go into it's 12th year. There will lot's of excitement in conjunction with the celebration of We Fest's 30th Anniversary. I am looking for a few new venues to host the contest in all areas of the Upper Midwest. Watch the website for info and venues for you to compete at. The contest will run from Jan. thru May. So get your voices warmed up.

The We Fest Karaoke Roundup Contest had a great 2011. The top 3 winners were awesome on Mainstage at We Fest. 1st place Chris Rogers has recorded a single, his version of Turn the Page, Bob Seger ok'd it, he said Chris was awesome. Even more excitement: ABC contacted me earlier in the spring after veiwing the We Fest Karaoke Roundup website. They were starting a new show called ABC's Karaoke Battle USA which was going to air for 6 weeks and they were very interested in our past winners auditioning for their contest. That's where it started and the Show ended with Cassandra Mae Jopp OUR 2009 1st place We Fest Karaoke winner, winning ABC's Karaoke Battle USA. With that she won a recording contract with Hollywood Records and she was sent to the Karaoke World Competition in Killarney, Ireland Sept. 8-10th, where 24 countries were represented, USA Cassandra Jopp won it for the females, Lebanon won it for the males. Cassandra lives in Fargo,ND originally from Frazee, Mn. Watch our website for more pics of her performance. Way to go Cassandra, Congratulations. I get to say I knew you when! Like I always say to everyone in the contest, you never know who is going to hear or see you perform at any level of the competition and look at all things as an opportunity to make Your Dreams Come True.
